City Council Meeting

Words to Wealth was presented at a City Council meeting after being invited by the Mayor, where we shared our mission of promoting financial literacy and youth empowerment. The presentation highlighted the program’s impact and its role in strengthening community education initiatives.

Guadalupe Center

Our Words to Wealth session at the Guadalupe Center expanded our outreach by bringing financial literacy education to even more students in the community. During the visit, we not only led an engaging educational session but also distributed books to students, ensuring they left with tangible resources to continue learning beyond the classroom.

Canterbury School

During our Words to Wealth visit to Canterbury School, we held four sessions across two highly engaged classes, with two workshops for each class. Students actively participated in discussions and activities focused on saving, spending, and smart money habits. Their enthusiasm and thoughtful questions made this one of our most interactive and engaging sessions.

Heights Foundation

Our first Words to Wealth session at The Heights Foundation marked an important milestone, bringing financial literacy education directly to students in the community. The session focused on building foundational money skills while encouraging confidence, participation, and long-term financial awareness.

Rayma C. Page Elementary

During our third Words to Wealth session at Rayma C. Page Elementary, we worked with around 100 second-grade students through two interactive financial literacy workshops. Students learned basic concepts about saving and spending through engaging activities. The session also included a book distribution so each student could take home a resource to continue learning about money management.

Reflection Isles

At our Words to Wealth workshop at Reflection Isles Clubhouse, we brought together around 15 elementary school students from the neighborhood for an engaging and interactive session centered on Penny and the Credit Card Crew. Through discussions and hands-on activities, students were introduced to important financial concepts such as credit, responsible spending, and making smart money decisions. The students were enthusiastic participants, eagerly sharing their thoughts, asking questions, and connecting the lessons to real-life situations, creating a fun and impactful learning experience for everyone involved.

Treeline Elementary

At our Words to Wealth workshop at Treeline, we engaged with around 40 students in an interactive session centered on Bella's Bank Adventure. The workshop introduced important concepts such as saving, banking, and ATMs through fun, discussion-based activities. Students were highly engaged throughout, contributing ideas and asking insightful questions that helped bring the lessons to life and created a meaningful and energetic learning experience.
